Aurelia Jewels is a Colombo-based fine jewellery atelier. Every piece is made by hand — from wax carving to final polish — by our team of third-generation craftspeople.
The Craft
Where ancient technique meets modern form
Our goldsmiths train for a minimum of seven years before they touch a finished piece. We use the lost-wax casting method — a technique unchanged for over 5,000 years — combined with hand-set stonework and a final hand-buff that no machine can replicate.
Each jewel passes through at least six pairs of hands before it reaches yours: designer, model-maker, caster, stone-setter, polisher, quality inspector.
The Materials
Only the metals and stones we would wear ourselves
We work exclusively in certified 925 sterling silver and 18K gold. Every stone is sourced from suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process, and all batches are tested by an independent assay office before production begins.
No gold-fill. No plating on base metals. Just solid precious metals with the hallmarks to prove it.
